December 31. Second day in Pattaya. Or actually not Pattaya. Jomtian Beach. Outside Pattaya, south of Pattaya.
Woke up early. 7 o’clock. Time for breakfast.
Then. The Beach. Again. But we didn’t bring the camera in the morning, so, no pictures. Sorry.
After the morning beach we went to a zoo. It was not a zoo - only. It was a park with old stones. And a zoo. Like many things at the same time.
So they had animals there. See?
That was a dog. A very nice dog. More animals later. But first. The stones. And flowers. They had a lot of flowers.

They said the stones were many hundreds of years old. That is a lot. Compared to me. I am only one. The flowers were not that old.
More than one I guess, but not hundreds.
They also had some tress that turned into stone. Don’t ask. I have no idea how that works.

That is a stone elephant. They had real ones too. But the picture of the real one is not so good. So you have to believe me on that.
Then there were lots and lots of birds. The parrots scared me. Too noicy. The peacocks were nice. A cow and some horses too. But those pictures are not here with me, so I can not show you.
I can show you one other animal. Scary. Scary. Crocodiles.

They had many, many crocodiles. And a crocodile show too. But we didn’t want to see that. What if they bite the man when I see?
No, better not watch that.
They had tigers too. Do you know how bad tigers smell? Very! So no tiger pictures.
OK, after the zoo - BEACH!!!
First, a little fun in the sand.

Then, one last swim before the sun went down.

I went to bed already at seven. Mom and dad thought I would sleep all nigt. But, I had different plans.
I knew something was going on. Something special. So I woke up again at nine. Then, after a while, I knew I was right.
It was special. Fireworks. Everywhere. We saw everything from our room. So many fireworks. For hours.
It was very beautiful. And one good thing was that no sound. I don’t like the loud noice of fireworks. But I like to watch them.
And I watched and watched. Until one o’clock. Then I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. That was a good New Year’s Eve.
Now I have to wait one more year for the next. Then I will be two years old. Time flies.
I just came back home to Bangkok yesterday, but I already want to go back to the sea. To swim some more. And play with the sand. There was a lot of sand to. Everywhere. Also in the water. Or under the water. Sand. Sand is fun. But water is better.
I hope I don’t have to wait until next new year… Please mom…. please dad. I can’t wait that long. You know, one year is a lifetime. For me anyway.
