Holiday in Khao Yai

We went on a short holiday last weekend. Because mom and dad had Monday off. Constitution day. Confusing day. Anyway.

Khao Yai.

That is a big mountain. A long sleep from Bangkok.

My mom’s friend from work has a house there. Or, a relative of his has a house there. Where we could stay. Nice of him.

My mom’s friends went there on Saturday, but we came Sunday, because dad had a meeting with some japanese people on Saturday.

Just arrived The House

The house we stayed in was very nice. On the top of a hill. With great views. I never saw the mountains before. I liked it.

I could sleep in the bed and see the mountains from the bedroom. Nice. Better than Bangkok. It was almost like in Sweden. Cooooool and nice. Not hot as at home.

On the balcony with mom

After checking the view from the balcony I went out to take a walk around the house. This is outside our bedroom.

In the garden

Outside the bedroom My little pony Me and dad relaxing in the garden

After relaxing and walking around it was time for some activities. Slipper throwing.

Slipper throwing

I stole my fathers slipper when he looked the other way. I could throw it very far. See how it flies.

Waiting for the nightThen we went inside. Here I am with mom and my new birthday doll I got as a present from my mom’s friend Pam last week on my first ever birthday. You can also see the back of the only other girl in the house.

I mean except me and mom. I can’t remember her name. But she was nice. Her boyfriends name was Bin. But he couldn’t fly. I think Bin means fly in Thai. Or maybe basket. I don’t know.

In the evening we had barbacue. I got to eat spareribs too. That was tasty. Then I went to sleep and I woke up really early on Monday morning. Before everybody else. We had to wait very long before the others woke up.

I played some football while I was waiting.

Heja Sverige.

Then it was time to go back home again. I helped to carry the bread back to the car.

Going home

I don’t like hats. So I threw it away. Dad had to pick it up 10 times.

At the winery Before we went back we stopped at a place near Khao Yai where they make wine. I don’t drink wine. But I liked the grapes. Mom bought some. I ate some.

It was very expensive. The wine. So I tried to change the prices a bit. Then I walked away. Doing something else. So they wouldn’t get angry with me. I don’t think they like to get the prices changed.

At the winery

That was two very nice days in the mountains. I hope we can go again. My parents said that we will go again. But not to stay in this house. Maybe only one day. To the national park. To the real Khao Yai. I will tell you if we go.

I’m back again

Hi everybody,

Sigh, I was so tired for a long journey in Sweden. At first, I would like to say sorry to everybody that it’s was too long that I was disappeared for my site. Well, I had been in Sweden with my parents and my father forget the password to add for this site till now my mother had done for me and I come back again.

I can tell that I like everything there like weather, people, places, ect. Maybe everything there. I don’t like hot weather in Thailand and crazy neighbor :(

I have heard my parents talking that they would like to move within 10 years. I grow up everyday and they don’t want me to stay home alone in the future. However, they would like me to live in Sweden if I can. But I’m still young and my parents can’t leave work here. They will have no work to do in Sweden.

Sigh, I hope they will have exit in the future about this.

A real shower - like a grown up

When we came back to the hotel after the beach, I needed a bath. Badly. After going around town and up into mountains and to the beach, I was really sticky. The only problem was, we didn´t have any bath tub. We forgot it at home in Bangkok. So, what to do, I needed a bath.

My first real shower in Hua HinMy first real shower with dad
I ended up in my dads arms in the shower for grown-ups. The big shower. The real thing. Wow. That was something. I liked it so much that I just had to convince dad to do that again, back home in Bangkok. Much better than just lying there in the tub.

After my first real shower in Hua Hin Good NightMmm, nice. Finally clean again after a long, hot day all around town. Not long after the shower I fell asleep, totally exhausted. The next day we went back home to Bangkok, after a stop at a factory outlet in Cha Am. I got some new clothes there. Minnie Mouse clothes. I like them.

We also bought some bed sheets for my grandparents new bed. They are coming sooooooon.

Sitting on the Beach

First visit at the beach in Hua HinThe last day in Hua Hin we went to the beach. This was the first time I saw so much water in one place. Before the beach day, the biggest water I had experienced was my small bath tub at home. You can´t compare it. This was soooo big. I couldn´t even see the end of it. It was water everywhere.

It was a little bit hard to get down to the beach, because in Hua Hin, they don´t have a beach road like in almost every other town in Thailand. (That is what my father told me, about the roads, because I have never been at any other beach before.) There´s only one way down to the beach in Hua Hin town, and at the end, there´s stairs. And then of course it is sand and sand and sand. Lots of sand.

Sleeping, againBut my stroller is a good one. Big wheels so when we managed to get down the stairs, the sand was not that a big problem actually. And we didn´t walk so far. Just 20-30 meters. Then we sat down at a table. Or, mom and dad sat down at a table. I was sitting secured in my stroller. But I did see the sea. And the sand. And a horse.

The sea makes me tiredAfter that I fell asleep as usual when I get outside. The sea really made me sleepy. Mom told me that we didn´t stay very long after I fell asleep. Mom ordered some food. Or, if you ask dad, she ordered a lot of food. They planned to eat it on the beach, but when it got dark, the mosquitos where coming out. From everywhere. So many that it was like a black cloud over my stroller. So they decided to pack up the food and go back and eat at the hotel.

That was my first visit at the beach. Maybe I get a new chance soon, when my grandparets come to visit us all the way from Sweden. It is not so many days left now. My dad is really waiting now. He misses them and wants to see them now. I want to see them too. We never met. It is time we meet now. I am getting old you know.

Hua Hin

The next mountain was Khao Hin Lek Fai. Hin Lek Fai means flint stone. Hin is stone, lek is iron and fai is fire. I didn’t see any flint stones up there, but that is what it is called. This mountain is “behind” the city. You go over the railway and then just straight. The road up is very steep. We saw one car that couldn’t make it to the top. Not enough power. It is that steep.

Anyhow, when we reached the carpark at the summit, I had made my usual business, so dad had to change my diaper in the car. That was a little bit strange, as the car seat is like sloaping so I was sliding down all the time. But he managed in the end. Then I was ready to go again.
On the left, I am just re-diaped. Is that a word? Then, on the second and third we are at the nearest view point. We didn’t go any further, because the walkway was a little bit hard on my stroller. But it is a very nice view over Hua Hin from up there. You see all the way to the sea, and also to that other mountain we went to earlier that day.

Then it was time to leave. It was getting dark and it was very windy up there. After this Flint Mountain we went to the new mall they have in Hua Hin. Mom and Dad had to eat. In the evening it was time for my first visit to the beach. I tell you later.
