Long time no see

I have been lazy for a very long time now. And when my laziness disappeared, my dad couldn’t help me, because he got occupied with other, more important things.

But now we are back, both of us. We have been on holiday. In Hua Hin. That is about 2,5 hours south of Bangkok. By the sea. We stayed there for 3 nights. That was very nice. I love to travel. To see new things.

Everybody thinks my parents are crazy to go away with me like that. When I am not even 2 months old. But I like it. I like to see new things. It gets boring to just stay at home all the time.

I won’t brake. I am small, but not that fragile. I am rather strong actually. I can almost stand up already. OK, not by myself, but with some help from dad.

Anyway. We went to Hua Hin. Just outside town, to the south, there’s a mountain with a lot of monkeys. It’s called Khao Takiap. Khao means mountain. Takiap means chop sticks. That is sticks they use to eat noodles. The mountain didn’t look like chop sticks at all. And I didn’t see any noodles either. Strange.

We saw many monkeys though. But my dad walked very fast past the place where most of them were. He was scared that they would jump into my stroller. They didn’t.

We had to go to Khao Takiap because my mom likes Kuan Im. That is some old chinese lady. She is dead now, but they have a big, BIG statue of her at the noodle mountain… eh, chop stick mountain.

Here she is. Kuan Im.

I didn’t go up there to look at her. Me and dad stayed downstairs to look at the view of the sea.

Here I am, in my stroller, at Khao Takiap, in Hua Hin, not looking at Jao Mae Kuan Im. Waiting for mom to finish whatever it was she was doing at the statue.

It was very, very hot up here, so we didn’t stay long. Had to go back to the hotel and eat a little bit, then we continued to another mountain. Without monkeys. I tell you about that soon. Now I have to take a shower. See ya!
